Liverpool enter Nkunku chase?

Chelsea target Christopher Nkunku is being checked out by Liverpool in case his move from RB Leipzig to Chelsea stalls, report The Sun.

The France international, who can also play in midfield, signed a two-year extension on his contract earlier this year taking him to 2026 – but significantly it contained a €60m (£52.4m) release clause which kicks in next summer.

Sky Sports News has been told nothing has been signed and the player himself has yet to make a final decision on his future amid interest from a number of top European clubs.

Lukaku returned to the San Siro a year after joining Chelsea in a club-record deal and now the Serie A club are keen to keep him all over again.

Juventus interested in Gundogan

De Jong will be allowed to leave the Camp Nou, while veteran defenders Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba are set to be released.

Dalot in line for new Man Utd deal

Manchester United plan to trigger Diogo Dalot’s one-year contract extension, reports ESPN.

Dalot had been the subject of interest from Barcelona but their hopes of signing him on a free will end if the renewal is agreed.

Real readying Davies approach

Real Madrid have set their sights on Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies, according to Marca.

Newcastle to demand world-record Guimaraes fee

Newcastle United will only part ways with midfielder Bruno Guimaraes if they receive a world-record transfer fee, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.

Real Madrid lead a host of European clubs interested in the 24-year-old Brazilian after his impressive start to life on Tyneside.

But the Magpies have no interest in losing Guimaraes so soon after signing him from Lyon, and have slapped a world-record price tag on his to ward off any suitors.
