Suicide pact, a probable Cause of Death for Couple who died in a 4-star Hotel

Suicide pact has been considered as a probable cause of death after a couple were found dead in their hotel room.

The man and woman died at 1:15pm on Thursday in Stoneleigh Park Lodge Hotel, a 4-star hotel in Warwickshire.

According to a report from Metro UK, the couple are yet to be identified.

They were discovered by an unsuspecting hotel worker who quickly called in the police.

“At this time we believe the incident was contained to the room and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths,” Detective inspector Tim Sharp said at a briefing.

“We are carrying out enquiries to help establish how they died and a file will be passed to the coroner.”

The Grandstand Stoneleigh Events, a business management outfit which operates the hotel, said through its spokesperson: “This is a very sad incident and our thoughts are with those affected.

“Warwickshire Police are investigating and we are assisting with their enquiries.”
