Popular Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has stated that his wife’s allowance is the most challenging thing in their marriage.
He made this known during their interview on Pulse Fun Facts, where couples asked questions from each other.
In a viral clip on the internet, the singer’s wife, Yetunde asked, “What is most challenging thing you have endured in our relationship?”
Seun in response, highlighted how expensive her monthly allowance is and how hard it is to put the funds together.
“My wife’s allowance is very high. Seven figures monthly. That’s challenging because I have to work so hard for it and it’s not easy. It’s very very high. I must have been under duress when I negotiated it, ” he said.

While describing fatherhood as his greatest achievements, he stated that he is not close with his first child for lack of connection with her mother.
“The greatest thing I ever achieved is becoming a father, I have two kids but I’m not really close to my other daughter but to have the joy of that is my greatest achievement.
“It’s complicated circumstances. No family is perfect, but I’m not close to the mother of my first daughter.
“I wasn’t married when I had my first daughter. Interestingly, I only had premarital sex twice before my first daughter was born.”
