Recent developments at Paris Saint-Germain show the club is in disarray, particularly with their continental football disappointments and growing concerns between Neymar, Edison Cavani and club supporters, as well as Unai Emery’s dwindling hold on his dressing room. It is therefore most likely that the Brazil international footballer will end his stint with the Lique 1 side.

That’s 2,000% confidence now less than 100%, AS noted in its report on PSG president Al Khelaifi, who once believed Neymar will remain in France but has since become “faithless”.

Madrid’s interest in swinging Neymar back to La Liga has sparked Khelaifi’s decision to speak directly to the former Barcelona FC player rather than his representatives.

In a pre-match interview, shortly before PSG lost to Madrid in their Champions League Round of 16 (second leg) encounter, the  French club’s president Al Khelaifi said with a confident smile on his face, “I’m 2,000% sure Neymar will remain at PSG.”

Neymar, 25, has been uncomfortable in Paris – from the rifts with players, fans and now, an injury which necessitated his travel to Brazil for medical attention, without PSG’s consent. He is due for surgery and will be out of action for some weeks.

This worrisome situation surrounding Neymar’s loyalty to the French club has kept Al Khelaifi agitated.

Real Madrid officials previously met with Neymar’s father and lawyers in Paris, and Al Khelaifi is already aware that around 400 million euros has been earmarked for the talented footballer’s exit from Paris to Spain.
