Italians are having a great summer of sport and former coach Fabio Capello told Gazzetta dello Sport “I’ve never felt so Italian”.
Capello spoke on various topics in the interview. One of them was Lionel Messi and his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
“With the crisis caused by COVID-19, the rich clubs are owned by Arabs and Russians. Messi chose PSG, Paris is the new Mecca. Luckily the prudent clubs are still there, Bayern, and the Germans in general. Nagelsmann started badly but his ideas you can see.”
On Serie A he thought “Juve are favourites after Inter’s sales, but Max (Allegri) won’t find it easy to repeat his success. He should show strength, I don’t want his players to use his return as something to hide behind to give up responsibility. I expect something special from De Ligt and Dybala.”
