Osbourne’s 2 projects still set for release

Ozzy Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2020 and paused touring three years later after extensive spinal surgery.

But the star continued working and made two announcements about upcoming projects just weeks before his death.

On 10 July, the 78-year-old revealed plans to release a memoir titled Last Rites.

The book, billed as “the shocking, bitterly hilarious, never-before-told story of Osbourne’s descent into hell”, is slated for release on 7 October.

And just a week later, Black Sabbath confirmed a concert film of their final gig with Osbourne will be out next year.

The band’s original line-up reunited for the first, and last, time in 20 years on 5 July for a sold-out show in Birmingham, the frontman’s hometown.
