Navalny’s mother files lawsuit over release of son’s body – Russian media
Russian media is reporting that opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s mother has filed a lawsuit over officials’ refusal to release her son’s body.
Lyudmila Navalnaya has been campaigning to retrieve Mr Navalny’s body since the weekend, after he died in a remote Arctic penal colony.
According to the politician’s legal team, she has been unable to find out where his body is being held.
A closed-door hearing on the lawsuit has been slated for 4 March, Russian news agency TASS said, citing court officials.

Hearing on use of US microchips in Russian weapons
A US Senate panel will hold a hearing next week on the use of American microchips in Russian weapons systems.
Senator Richard Blumenthal said the hearing will be held by the permanent subcommittee on investigations on Tuesday.
It will address how Moscow is evading export controls aimed at blocking it from using US technology in the war against Ukraine, Mr Blumenthal’s office said.
