Mario Gotze could be on his way to Liverpool in the coming transfer window as reports confirm that the boyish-looking star is no longer settled at his current club Bayern Munich.
He has refused to sign a new contract and is apparently waiting for the season to end.
The star player’s value sky-rocketed after he scored the Germans winning goal at the last world cup against highly rated Argentina, but having made only 12 appearances this season, Mario may lose his chances of representing Germany in future games especially the coming Euro Games.
The attacker has fallen out of favor in Pep Guardiola’s led team and wants new challenges elsewhere. The speculations that a new coach Carlo Ancelotti will be taking over the team’s managerial position isn’t enough inspiration for him to stay.
Gotze has made it clear that he wants to leave. He has around 12 months left in his current contract.
Mario was at his best before Jurgen Klopp left the Bundesliga side B. Dortmund and the tactician believes there’s still more achievements Mario could bring on to his new club Liverpool.
The information may prove itself true after Mario in his recent comments suggested that he would love a move to the Premier League, and indicated he would like to play again under his former Dortmund boss.
