Enzo Maresca has verbally agreed to become the new Manchester City boss this summer on a three-year contract, according to multiple reports.
Fabrizio Romano and talkSPORT are both reporting that the former Chelsea boss will succeed Pep Guardiola at the end of the season.
Sources are also telling Sky Sports News that Guardiola is going to leave Man City after Sunday’s final Premier League game of the season.
However, there has been no confirmation from City, and sources at the club insist Guardiola remains their manager on a contract until 2027.
But sources have told Sky Sports News that preparations are underway for the outcome that Guardiola will leave – and Maresca is most likely to become his successor.
