Manchester City have stepped up their efforts to sign Antoine Semenyo and are set to have meetings with the representatives of the Bournemouth forward in the next 24 hours, according to The Times.

Reports emerged on Sunday evening that Bournemouth were expecting a late rival bid from Liverpool for the Ghana international.

MEZIESBLOG understands Semenyo’s current preference is to join City and they are the frontrunners to sign him in January when his £65m release clause becomes active. 

The Times are reporting that Semenyo wants a swift decision on his future and would like to choose his next club before January 1.
