Bournemouth are expecting Liverpool to rival Man City for winger Antoine Semenyo, according to multiple reports.
The Mail and Telegraph are reporting that the Cherries are anticipating a late twist in the Semenyo chase.
Man City have emerged as frontrunners for the Ghana international, whose current preference is a move to the Etihad.
Liverpool and Man Utd remain interested in Semenyo and there is still work for City to do to get the deal over the line.
Bournemouth are powerless to stop Semenyo leaving due to a £65m release clause that becomes active from January 1.
The clause does not last for the entire window, though, ensuring Bournemouth have time to sign a replacement.
