The world has seen dolphins but not much of this rare pink-colored specie which was spotted playing in Louisiana ship channel.

Yes! Pink dolphins do exist.

Bridget Boudreaux says she spotted “Pinky” while on a boat cruise with her husband last weekend.

The couple were on a jolly ride in the Calcasieu Ship Channel near Hackberry on Saturday afternoon when by surprise, they caught a pink dolphin strutting with reckless abandon.

“I nearly jumped out of the boat,” said Boudreaux.

“I was like wow that’s not a regular dolphin, that’s a pink dolphin.”

She said they got a bit close and noticed there were two pink dolphins around the spot, but her camera clicks could get only one. How disappointing!

Boudreaux badly wanted us to see a picture of the awesome pair.

The pink dolphins were originally seen about 20 feet from their boat. They were reportedly playing among others of their kind.
