The Kuwait Armed Forces General Staff said in a statement on social media platform X that drones detected since early Saturday had struck several vital facilities, including a government facility in northern Kuwait and civilian vehicles on Bubiyan Island. The statement said falling debris caused material damage but no casualties were reported. The Kuwait Armed Forces General Staff earlier said air defenses were intercepting hostile targets, adding that explosions heard across the country were caused by the interception operations.
