Love and broken hearts are interchangeable; even though everyone wishes for a happily-ever-after ending, the reality often stares us in the face, demanding serious decisions, actions and changes—where necessary.

Love sells; and it is, in fact, one of the most interesting aspects of human life. We see this in the books, movies, music and our everyday lives but, unfortunately, it has been a ballad for many.

Jimmy, 43, popularized the “Why I’m Single” hashtag by asking questions and having people tweet their answers. And it was soothing—kind of, especially for those who can’t write a novel about their sad tales of love.

“I showed my date a picture of my dog,” Jesse Worstell posted on Twitter. “She said, ‘Ugh. I hate dogs.’ I said, ‘It was nice meeting you.’ Stood up and left.”
