Israeli soldiers killed in Hezbollah drone attack named

The four Israeli soldiers killed in a Hezbollah drone attack on an army base in northern Israel have been named.

Sergeant Omri Tamari, Sergeant Yosef Hieb, Sergeant Yoav Agmon and Sergeant Alon Amitay, all 19, died in the attack.

Seven others were severely wounded in the strike, the Israeli military said.

Israel’s national rescue service said the attack wounded 61.

Hezbollah said the attack near Binyamina city was retaliation for Israeli strikes on Beirut last Thursday that killed 22 people.

Four killed and dozens burned in Israeli strike on hospital tent camp

Earlier we reported an Israeli airstrike had hit the courtyard of a hospital in central Gaza this morning.

Palestinian medics have now said four people have been killed and more than two dozen left with severe burns after flames swept through the packed tent camp housing displaced people.

The Israeli military said it had targeted militants hiding among civilians, without providing evidence.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central city of Deir al-Balah was already treating people from an earlier attack on a school in nearby Nuseirat that killed at least 23 people.

The strike reportedly hit the military base’s canteen at dinner when it was full of people.

Women and children killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza food distribution centre

At least 10 people have been killed and 30 injured in Israeli airstrikes on a food distribution centre in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, Palestinian medics have said.

The casualties included women and children, the medics added.

Israeli forces pushed further into the Jabalia area over the last weekend. International relief agencies say thousands of people are trapped in the refugee camp.

The IDF has not commented. Sky News has not independently verified the claims.
