Sagiv Jehezkel, the Israeli footballer who was held for questioning in Turkey after he displayed solidarity with Hamas hostages during a match, has landed in Tel Aviv.
The player told police he was calling for an end to the war when, after scoring a goal, he displayed a bandage on his wrist with the words “100 Days 7.10” – in reference to the 7 October attacks.
Turkish prosecutors launched an investigation against him on charges of “inciting people to hatred and hostility”.
He was greeted by crowds of fans after arriving at Ben Gurion airport…

Operator of ship hit by missile releases statement
We’ve received a statement from the operator of the US-owned cargo ship hit by a Houthi missile off Yemen.
The Gibraltar Eagle was struck by an “unidentified projectile” while sailing 100 miles off the Gulf of Aden, Eagle Bulk Shipping said.
“As a result of the impact, the vessel suffered limited damage to a cargo hold but is stable and is heading out of the area,” Eagle Bulk said.
“All seafarers onboard the vessel are confirmed to be uninjured. The vessel is carrying a cargo of steel products.”

Analysis: The Houthis are not going to stop
There will be no let-up in strikes by the Houthis against ships, says a military analyst.
In the past 36 hours, the rebel group has fired one anti-ship cruise missile at a US warship and one ballistic anti-ship missile – “which are more dangerous” – at a US-owned cargo ship.
The Houthis “are going to keep on doing this” and “there will be more attacks on facilities”, Clarke says.
Asked about Rishi Sunak’s statement to MPs earlier on his decision to target the Houthis, Clarke says: “The prime minister said we have got to degrade and dissuade the Houthis.
“That’s the point, they [UK and US] are not trying to destroy them, they are trying to dissuade them.”
