The brand of football clearly is one of the big factors. The shortlist to replace Arne Slot I believe has two names. One is Iraola.

High intensity, front-footed. They play with a real zest and an ability to get the ball forward. They use width, are very dynamic on the ball and win it high up the pitch. They really take the game to the opposition. It’s that type of heavy metal brand of football. Exactly the same style under Jurgen Klopp. It wasn’t about keeping the ball, it was about being exciting. 

At this stage, we know Liverpool haven’t officially spoken to any candidates, but we know Andoni Iraola is one of those that the players would like to speak to.
