Zinedine Zidane is arguably the world’s best footballer of all time though thoughts of him never come to mind for many football analysts and fans who find this an interesting topic.

The French coach and his Real Madrid squad narrowly escaped a humiliating loss against Barcelona at Camp Nou. And the wonderful result means he has equaled Jose Mourinho’s record, with a chance of setting a new one.

Although critics believe Zizou was lucky to have secured a draw through a 90th minute equalizer from Sergio Ramos, what matters most is the fact that history is being made.

The 1-1 draw from last Saturday’s clasico game has placed Los Blancos at 33 games without tasting defeat.

Zidane’s team will play against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night, and if the European champions come out victorious, it’ll be their 34th unbeaten run.

With the Clasico draw against Luis Enrique’s team, Zidane has also equaled Jose Mourinho’s record as the Real Madrid manager with the longest away unbeaten run (17 games).

Madrid are leading the 2016 La Liga Table with six points, followed by Barcelona.
