Gaza hospital explosion triggers protests across Middle East

In the aftermath of the hospital strike in Gaza, protests have emerged across the Arab world.

People gathered around Israeli embassies in Turkey and Jordan, while in Lebanon people could be seen around the US embassy. 

Palestinian security forces fired tear gas and stun grenades to disperse protesters in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, who were throwing rocks and chanting against Palestinian Authority president, Mahmoud Abbas.

Televised footage showed protests in Yemen’s southwestern city of Taz, as well as in the Moroccan capital Rabat and Iraq’s capital, Baghdad.

While images from Istanbul showed crowds of people gathering around a fire and holding Palestinian flags.
