It’s not uncommon for people to go to church for some other reasons aside from prayers. Jesus didn’t tell us to visit His house for the orchestra, show of affluence, business connection, display of high-level emotions, social networking and others. These should be grossly condemned.
Little wonder, some go to the service but return “unserviced.”.
When prayers are not accorded adequate attention during the service, then something is wrong with that service.
We shouldn’t forget that prayer is the gateway to the presence of God. Be aware! God bless you and yours.
