A funeral has taken place for two Palestinians who were allegedly shot dead by Israeli forces in the West Bank.
The Palestinian health ministry reported the 22-year-old man and 23-year-old women were killed by live ammunition during clashes in the city of Dura yesterday.
The Israeli military said about 100 people threw firebombs and blocks at troops, who fired back.
One person was killed, it said, adding that others were hit and the incident was “under review”.
The West Bank, which is not controlled by Hamas, has experienced an increase in violence since the war in Gaza erupted.
The health ministry has said Israeli forces have killed some 350 Palestinians there since 7 October.
Most have been killed in confrontations with Israeli forces during arrest raids or violent protests.
Palestinians from the West Bank have also carried out attacks against Israelis during that time.
