Instructor of the Center for International Programs and English Language Academy

Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA, a leader among the nation’s independent associate degree colleges and the Harcum English Language Academy invites applicants for the position of Instructor with the primary responsibilities of teaching, developing and implementing the academic curriculum, and the testing and placement of students.

Position responsibilities:

– Teaching, advising and curriculum development equivalent

– Following college policies and procedures (e.g. utilization of current syllabus template, submitting

attendance, warnings, mid-term grades, final grades and assessment data) in a timely manner.

– Attending all faculty meetings (e.g. Program meetings, Faculty Senate, Faculty Committees, and

Faculty Development activities).

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at least one year teaching experience in a full-time, intensive program. 

Schedule:

The instructor will teach reading, writing, oral communication and grammar.
