Eddie Murphy Now Has 9 Kids

One of the world’s proudest fathers and actors, Eddie Murphy, has become a dad again.

The famous Beverly Hills Cop star welcomed daughter Izzy Oona Murphy with model and actress girlfriend Paige Butcher on Tuesday (03May16), People magazine reported.

“The baby girl weighed in at seven pounds, 15 ounces, and measured 19-and-a-half inches long,” according to the actor’s representative. “Both mother and daughter are doing well,” the source added.

The newborn is Eddie’s ninth child, but his first with girlfriend Paige, who he began dating in 2012.

The Shrek star also has sons Eric, 26, and Christian, 25, from two former girlfriends as well as children Bria, 25, Myles, 22, Shayne, 21, Zola, 15, and Bella, 13, from his 12-year marriage to Nicole Mitchell, who he divorced in 2006.

He also has nine-year-old daughter Angel with former Spice Girls star Mel B, who he battled over paternity when news of her pregnancy broke in 2006.

“I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test,” he told Dutch TV show RTL Boulevard at the time. “You shouldn’t jump to conclusions.”

Angel was born on Eddie’s 46th birthday on 3 April, 2007. A subsequent DNA test confirmed the actor was the father.

Mel B, 40, has stated in interviews her former flame had not sought a relationship with his daughter, but it has since been reported the actor was getting to know his little girl.

Eddie’s current girlfriend, Paige Butcher, is an actress who has appeared in Something’s Gotta Give and Big Momma’s House 2.
