EasyJet has reopened its base at Newcastle International Airport after closing it around six years ago due to the pandemic.
The budget airline will operate up to 86 flights a week to 22 destinations from the North East hub.
This includes new routes taking off to Antalya, Corfu, Dalaman, Enfidha, Faro, Lisbon, Malta, Nice, Prague, Reus, Rhodes, Rome, Sharm El-Sheikh and Tenerife.
Since 2023, easyJet has grown by nearly a third (31%) at its regional bases.
