Trump laughs off Hillary Clinton’s visit to Adele’s Concert Venue

Donald J. Trump has slammed his political rival Hillary Clinton for stopping on a motorcade to watch Adele perform at a concert in Miami. The Republican thinks it will make no difference on the outcome of America’s November 8 presidential election but rather shows his opponent “lacks energy”.

As a present to Mrs Clinton on the eve of her 69th birthday Tuesday night, the British singer voiced her support to a fellow woman who’s also a die-hard fan.

“I do know what to do — don’t vote for him [Donald Trump], that’s what I’m saying,” Adele told the cheering audience.

“I can’t vote, but I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton. I love her, she’s amazing,” the Brit woman added.

“I am English, but what happens in America affects me, too.”

Meanwhile, Mr Trump says: “I think it’s so unfair because, you know, Hillary Clinton goes to see an Adele concert last night, and everybody says, ‘Oh, wasn’t that nice. Isn’t that wonderful?'”

The Republican candidate granted an interview to ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos right inside his new hotel in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.

“I built one of the great hotels of the world. What am I supposed to do, not show up? I’m taking one hour off. I’m going to North Carolina right after this, then I’m going back down to Florida. I’m going up to New Hampshire. I’m all over the place,” Mr Trump said.

“I can’t take one hour off to cut a ribbon at a one of the great hotels of the world? I mean, I think I’m entitled to it,” he added.

Mr Trump blasted Hillary Clinton for a seeming lack of stamina after she took five days off before their last three presidential debates. Though the Democrat claimed it was really nice for her to take a long break so she could prepare for the last fights, her opponent thinks otherwise.

He continues: “She goes, she does one stop. She has no energy. She’s got nothing going. She does one stop. And nobody complains about that.

“Nobody complains when she goes to an Adele concert all night long, while I’m making two speeches at rallies with, you know, massive crowds.”

Donald Trump spent yesterday morning at the launch of her newest hotel in Washington. He fired back at critics who attacked him for engaging in business meetings when he should be campaigning.

In his opinion, Trump thinks it wasn’t really bad that he had to take care of business matters if Hillary Clinton could take a whole five days for nothing of worth, adding that cutting short her campaign for Adele’s concert Tuesday night proves him right that the Democrat lacks spirited energy.

The fact that “I built this hotel under budget and ahead of schedule … sends a real message,” Trump said.

For Hillary Clinton, her decision to attend Adele’s show was a wise one which bore unexpected fruits.

“I went to the Adele concert after we finished our day of campaigning in Florida and I was stunned and thrilled because I’m a huge fan of hers, and it meant a lot to me that she said something so positive,” Clinton told Mark Thompson, who works with Sirius XM, on Wednesday.
