Cristiano Ronaldo has broken football records on several occasions, and the Portuguese star has an insatiable hunger for more glories. He presented his fourth Ballon d’Or to Real Madrid faithfuls on 7 January, 2017.
The famous No. 7 missed Real Madrid’s match against Sevilla earlier this week, but neither his absence nor his long list of individual trophies affected the team’s performance.
Los Blancos played an amazing football against their rivals in the Copa del Rey match which ended 3-0.
James Rodriguez made a surprise return to first team action and was fast to prove himself with an early goal for Zinedine Zidane’s side. The Colombian player scored a brace with Raphael Varane increasing the tally to three.

“James did very well, played a good game,” Zidane said.
“He scored two goals, and worked hard, as they all did. I am very happy for his game, and for all the players. We were enormous in defence too, as keeping a clean sheet in a first leg is always very important.”
The Spanish champions are expected to maintain their Saturday afternoon’s form against Granada (5-0) as they prepare against Jorge Sampaoli’s men for a second-leg game on Thursday.
Zidane said in a post match briefing, according to ESPN: “Sevilla are a very good team, had been playing very well, and were confident. So to play a game like that gives you even more satisfaction. Although we know there is still a second leg to come, we are not through yet.”
Real Madrid may yet complete a 40-game unbeaten run before the week ends, and according to Marca, the club president Florentino Perez, Ronaldo Nazario, Luis Figo, Michael Owen and Zinedine Zidane were all present at the Santiago Bernabeu for C. Ronaldo’s Ballon d’Or party.
