Afrobeats star and latest groom in town, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has claimed that marrying an Igbo woman isn’t easy.
Davido tied the knot with his wife, Chioma Rowland, an Igbo lady from Imo State on Tuesday.
The singer spoke via music executive Ubi Franklin’s Instagram live session shortly after his wedding.
He, however, did not reveal the reason for his claim.
“E no easy. E no easy to marry Igbo woman. Igbo woman, e no easy,” he stated.
Davido had, during the wedding, assured Chioma’s parents that their daughter would be protected and respected in their union.
The ‘Assurance’ crooner said he promised her “a lifetime assurance.”
