Chelsea have set their sights on signing Jordan Henderson from Brentford, according to reports.
The 36-year-old midfielder has caught the attention of the Blues following his impressive displays for both the Bees and the England national team since returning to the United Kingdom from Ajax in 2025.
Brentford have maintained a transparent stance with Henderson from the moment they secured his signature, making it clear they would not obstruct his departure should a major club come calling. This could potentially pave the way for him to depart on a free transfer, although that outcome is not guaranteed if multiple suitors enter the race for his services. The former Liverpool captain currently has one year remaining on his contract with the west London outfit.
Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso is actively seeking to bolster his squad with individuals who possess strong character, proven leadership qualities, and vast experience. The Blues had previously shown interest in Granit Xhaka at Sunderland earlier this summer, but that move failed to materialise.
