Caicedo: I am focused on Chelsea and want to become a legend

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has pledged his future to the club despite being linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Caicedo is contracted to Chelsea until 2033 but that has not stopped reports in Spain about interest from Real.

Although Chelsea will sign at least one midfielder this summer, that does not necessarily mean they are prepared to sell either Caicedo or Enzo Fernandez, who has also been linked with a move to the Bernabeu Stadium.

Chelsea paid Brighton £115m for Caicedo in 2023 and he remains a key player at Stamford Bridge.

Caicedo was asked about Madrid’s interest while on international duty with Ecuador.

“I want to become a Chelsea legend,” he told Spain’s El Chiringuito TV.

“I’m under contract and my focus is on Chelsea and Ecuador.”
