Australian Model Sahara Ray, Former Girlfriend of Justin Bieber, Dies at 34

Australian model Sahara Ray has died aged 34.

Her family confirmed the news to TMZ.

“She passed away last night surrounded by family at the hospital. She was so loved,” they told the outlet.

Her cause of death has not been shared.

Ray was the daughter of big-wave surfer Tony Ray and grew up splitting her time between Australia, California and Hawaii.

She rose to fame through her modelling career and made headlines in 2016 for her romance with pop star Justin Bieber. The pair were pictured holidaying together and skinny dipping in Hawaii.

Ray welcomed her first child, a daughter named Snow, in January.

“Baby Snow hallelujah,” she captioned one post, paired with Bieber’s 2025 hit Everything Hallelujah.

Ray’s final post was a series of sweet photos of her daughter, shared in July.

“My whole heart… baby Snow,” she wrote.

The model was also linked to Australian singer Cody Simpson and, more recently, American musician Mod Sun.

In 2024, Ray opened up about being diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare autoimmune condition, caused by trauma after she was hit by a car.

“I’m so overwhelmed with what’s been going on with me,” she posted at the time.

“So basically right now, I’m paralysed from the tops of my upper thighs all the way down to my feet. I can’t walk at all.”
