Apple Confirms iPhones Can Only Last 3 Years

Most iPhone lovers are biting their nails so hard after getting the most recent confirmation from Apple that iPhones, iPads and Apple watches can last only three years.

Apple announced that it expects your £500 worth iPhones to last three years while Mac computers are favored at a maximum of only four years.

This is how long first owners of the said products are assured maximum satisfaction. A proud owner of an iPhone may have to consider reselling it after 3 years or throwing it away – hard choice.

The truth is, in 3 years an iPhone would have lost every resale value so it would be worth nothing. Trading a 3-year-old iphone with Apple for a newer product would be impossible. So you are either going to buy a newer iPhone or sell your loyalty if you’re not addicted to the brand.

A section on the company’s website that deals with the environment and ‘Greenhouse gas” is focused on determining how long its devices can last on the average for original owners. The new question and answer section said: “Years of use, which are based on first owners, are assumed to be four years for OS X and tvOS devices and three years for iOS and watchOS devices.”
