5.3-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes South of Fiji Islands

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 struck south of the Fiji Islands at 1551 GMT on Saturday, according to the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.

The epicenter was initially determined to be at 24.63 degrees south latitude and 176.63 degrees west longitude, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
