Ahead of the May 28 Champions League Final (Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid), coach Zinedine Zidane has poured encomiums on counterpart Diego Simeone as ‘one of the greatest’.

Both sides will meet in Milan on Saturday for a repeat of the 2014 finals.
Zidane attended a Press Conference and among the questions he answered was a spectacular one on the Argentine, Diego Simeone.
The Real Madrid legend said: “Simeone does a great job. He’s one of the great coaches in the world. He knows football very well and his team. He knows what to do to reach a final. He had a lot of character as a player and does as a coach. Mostly I would emphasize how well he knows his players.
“It’s two months since we lost to Atletico in the League. We’ve worked well since then. Losing a final is difficult. At this moment we don’t think about losing to Atletico, just what we can do to win. I wish it was Saturday already.
“I’m happy and excited. The feelings are mixed. What I can say is I am very lucky to share this with the players. I have a lot to learn but the desire to learn is tremendous. I’ll improve, I’m convinced. But I have a lot to learn to be a great coach.”
