Technology is rapidly increasing unemployment rate in developed and developing countries, especially in China where many universities have started utilizing services from robots instead of employing human labor.
This teaching robot “Xiaomei” takes lesson at a classroom in Jiujiang University in southeast China’s Jiangxi province. She is one of the popular robotic teachers in universities around China.
The robot named “Xiaomei” is a product of the university’s research team, which took just a month to assemble.
“Xiaomei” is not only capable of taking classes according to PPT, but also is able to conduct simple communications with students.
