Full-Time Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data

Woosong University’s Endicott College of International Studies Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data is looking for a full-time Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

In addition to your salary, you will receive:

• housing (upon availability) 
• flight reimbursement (for applicants coming to Korea from abroad)
• applicants coming to Korea from abroad will also receive a settlement allowance of 100,000 won per day that they arrive before their start date, up to a maximum of 15 days
• 4 weeks (20 working days) of paid vacation each year
• Basic health insurance through the national health insurance plan
• Membership in the private Korea Teachers Pension (monthly contribution: approximately 9% of your salary)
• Opportunities for financial compensation for publishing in recognized peer-reviewed journals

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A Ph. D. in computer science/computer engineering or a corresponding background (Computer science or related, Computer vision, big data analysis, blockchain)
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• The ability to teach using English

Job Description:

Successful candidates will teach:

• Introduction to Machine Learning, Cognitive Science, Data Structure, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Essential Math for AI, Database, Advanced Big Data Tools, Cloud Platform, Big Data Platform, Introduction to Data Analytics

The incumbent may teach additional classes based upon their qualifications and the university’s needs. Successful applicants will be responsible for teaching and curriculum development. The ideal candidate will grasp the exciting opportunity to develop new forms of knowledge, research, and potential transfer paths to industry.
