– Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday revealed that he had inspected leading positions of the Ukrainian military in Lysychansk city in Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk and Soledar in Donetsk, where fighting with Russian forces is intense.

– Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday warned Russia would strike new targets if the United States started supplying Ukraine with longer-range missiles.

– A complete severance of relations between Moscow and Washington is impossible and contact must be maintained, U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan said in an interview with TASS on Sunday.



Russia’s Kursk extends yellow level of terrorist danger until June 22

Authorities in Russia’s Kursk region have extended the yellow level of terrorist danger until June 22, Kursk’s Governor Roman Starovoit said Thursday on his Telegram channel.

He said law enforcement agencies and special services personnel in the region had been working in an enhanced mode for almost two months.

Putin, Raisi discuss need to revive Iran nuclear deal over phone

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday and discussed the need to continue diplomatic efforts and reach an agreement on reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, said the Kremlin.

The Kremlin said the two sides expressed a desire to further strengthen Russian-Iranian relations.
