Ukrainian state energy company Naftogaz says its gas infrastructure was targeted in Russian drone strikes overnight.
“Today in the early morning, Russian drones once again attacked gas infrastructure facilities,” Naftogaz’s chairman said on Telegram.
“There are damages, but, fortunately, no casualties.
“The company’s specialists and emergency services are already working on site and doing everything possible to restore the operation of the damaged facilities as soon as possible.”
Russian forces have stepped up strikes on Ukraine’s energy facilities in recent months.
The Ukrainian government allocated $200m (£150m) in emergency funding to Naftogaz for gas imports in October after a wave of attacks on its gas infrastructure.
