Cristiano Ronaldo will not face charges in the US after being accused of sexual assault, the prosecutors have confirmed.
Kathryn Mayorga has alleged that the Juventus star sexually assaulted her in a Las Vegas hotel in 2009, a claim which he strenuously denies.
“The allegations of sexual assault against Cristiano Ronaldo cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt,’ the US prosecutors said in a statement.
“Therefore, no charges will be forthcoming.”
