Katy Perry and Taylor Swift haven’t been without problems in the chosen careers but things got worse between them when Calvin Harris [Swift’s ex] attacked the “Back To December” singer on Twitter, naming Perry along the line. That didn’t help matters.

Harris wrote: “I know your off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it…”

“[In 2014 Swift talked about a famous former friend who turned into an enemy] For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Swift told Rolling Stone.

“She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’”

The “Wildest Dreams” singer said the conflict that ended their friendship was “so horrible … She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. … So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”

Swift continued: “She did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business.”

With all the facts laid out, fans didn’t need a soothsayer to conclude it was Katy Perry.

In addition, Calvin Harris wrote in his Twitter rant that it was Swift who wrote the song he performed with Rihanna, “This Is What You Came For”.

While Swift is yet to confirm if the song was about Perry or not, one thing is clear, the 26-year-old has made many enemies in the industry, including Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

If she once apologized to people she badly hurt, she’ll surely apologize to Katy.

Swift has grown wiser at 26, and she can’t be breaking instead of building bridges–especially the ones that have the greatest impact on her life.

In 2010, Swift claimed she has no need to apologize to anyone in her music but the track “Back to December” is believed to be about her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner.

“I’ve never felt the need to apologize in a song before,” Swift told MTV in 2010.

“But in the last two years, I’ve experienced a lot, [including] a lot of different kinds of learning lessons. And sometimes, you learn a lesson too late and at that point you need to apologize because you were careless.”
