Coutinho still chasing dreams at Barcelona

Philippe Coutinho is back at FC Barcelona. The Brazilian has returned to training ahead of schedule as he looks to convince Ronald Koeman that he still has a future at Barça.

On Friday morning, Coutinho once again donned the Barça shirt after cutting short his holiday following his Champions League win with Bayern Munich.

The forward wasn’t expected back until next Tuesday (8th September).

It remains to be seen what happens with Coutinho going forward. With some of the biggest earners at the club being told they aren’t needed, it could provide the Brazilian with another chance to establish himself at the Camp Nou.

The Brazilian is optimistic about his future at FC Barcelona and is desperate to prove himself under new head coach Ronald Koeman.

Coutinho showed glimpses of his talent in Lisbon, even if he didn’t start, and helped his side win the Champions League. He’s reportedly told people close to him that he’s ready to prove himself to Barça. A new coach with new ideas has given Coutinho renewed optimism.

Coutinho’s likely move to PSG or Liverpool could bring Neymar back at Barcelona

Philippe Coutinho is said to be a target for various big European sides.

Bayern don’t want to pay his loan-to-buy option fee. Per the Daily Express, but Jurgen Klopp would be interested in taking him back to Anfield.

The 27-year-old left Liverpool for 145 million euros to join Barcelona in January 2018. However, his first option is Kai Havertz, at Bayer Leverkusen. Other sides like Man City, Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham have an interest in the playmaker who impressed in England between 2013-17.

Per Le10Sport, Leonardo is interested in bringing Coutinho to PSG. It could be the key to getting Neymar back at Barcelona.

Coutinho has seven goals and eight assists in 27 games at Bayern, where he is not fitting in well.
