Woman wins $42,949,672.76; sues Casino for claiming the Slot Machine malfunctioned

You definitely have no slot machine experience if you’ve neither won or lost — in millions — but this woman named Katrina Bookman has seen it all from a perspective.

God knows, I bear no grudge against casino owners and lovers — but this young lady deserves an attention for her predicaments after winning an eye-popping $42,949,672.76 in the U.S.

Katrina hit the once-in-a-lifetime jackpot on a Sphinx Slot Machine located at the Resorts World Casino in Queens, New York City.

She reportedly wanted to cash out the gigantic prize immediately without knowing that her joy would soon turn into sorrow.

The lucky winner was smart enough to take a selfie with the screen moments before getting her e-ticket.

As if she had premonitions of what was to come, the lotto winner took her printed proof to the casino office, but was met with the greatest shock of her life.

The managers told her that she ‘hadn’t won nothing,’ explaining that the slot machine must have ‘malfunctioned’ somehow.

Worse still, she was ushered out of the office premises.

That, and that, was her god-given $42,949,672.76 for Peter’s sake!

To calm the waters, Katrina was later handed an invitation for a steak dinner instead of a check from the casino officials. And she blatantly said ‘no way’ for that inhuman treatment which started sometime last year.

Woman 'sues casino after being offered steak dinner instead of £35,650,000 winnings'

Image shows Katrina Bookman in front of her lucky slot machine at the casino.

A report from CNN confirms Ms Bookman was actually invited the following day and told she would be handed a meager $2.25 and an all-expense paid dinner at a steak house.

As anyone would expect, she rejected both outrageous offers. Since then, it has been a fight to the death between an ‘unreliable’ casino company and a ‘helpless’ lady whose life story should have been that of rags-to-riches. No, grass to grace, intended.

Alan Ripka, Katrina’s legal representative, told CNN that a lawsuit has been filed against the scam. She’s seeking a full payment of the total amount as damages.

That can’t be too much to ask for, right?

According to Metro.co.uk, Katrina’s prize money would have been the highest ever won on a slot machine in the United States of America.

‘You can’t claim a machine is broken because you want it to be broken,’ Alan argued in defense of the oppressed. ‘Does that mean it wasn’t inspected? Does it mean it wasn’t maintained?

‘And if so, does that mean that people that played there before [Bookman] had zero chance of winning?’

Alan has painstakingly contacted the casino house for explanations on how the machine malfunctioned, but his request was turned down.

The lawyer said he wants at least $43m in damages.

Steve Harvey’s ex-Wife Mary Vaughn files for $60m, claims she was ‘dehumanized’

Steve Harvey has received a $60m lawsuit for allegedly torturing his ex-wife Mary L. Vaughn.

Image shows Steve Harvey and his ex-wife Mary L. Vaughn.

Although his troubled marriage collapsed in 2005, the “Family Feud” host is accused of subjecting Mary to a “prolonged torture with the infliction of severe mental pain and suffering.”

According to the court documents which were filed last Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Harvey’s acknowledgement after three years into the relationship, that he was still married to his first wife, forced the complainant into a torturous life.

The feuding couple got married in 1996, ET Online confirms.

Mary “attempted suicide by self-medicating as her only way of saving herself” from the pain.

She, however, claims that the alleged torture completely changed her attitude to life and forced a new identity upon her. ‘Her ideals and principles subsequently crumbled,’ the lawsuit shows.

“Mary’s still feeling a slew of ill-effects from their battle,” TMZ quotes from a court document it obtained on the legal battle. “She says she’s been suicidal and self-medicates to cope with their nasty breakup.”

Harvey and his attorney were accused of subjecting Mary to ‘severe emotional distress’ which led to some medical conditions for the victim and her immediate family within a period of 15 years.

Inclusive in the lawsuit is a claim for an alleged child endangerment, torture, kidnapping, breach of contract, conspiracy against rights, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and “soul murdering.”

Further still, Mary says she suffered harassment, brainwashing and theft by deception.

A report from TMZ confirms that Essie Berry, a civil rights activist (not an attorney), is representing Harvey’s ex-wife in the lawsuit.

The court documents were filed “In Pro Per,” which means that the parties involved will be representing themselves.

Harvey’s marriage to Mary was blessed with a child, Wynton Harvey, who was born in July 1997.

Their divorce settlement includes a gag order which she violated in 2013 by taking out her grievances on YouTube, accusing her then-husband of having an extra-marital affair while their marriage lasted.

Harvey’s ex-wife was jailed for 30 days after getting a conviction for contempt of court.

Steve Harvey was married to Marcia, with whom he had three children — daughters Brandi and Karli and son Broderick. Their marriage lasted for 14 years.

The 60-year-old producer and radio personality got married to his current wife, Marjorie Elaine Harvey, in 2007 following a peaceful separation from Mary L. Vaughn in 2005.

Steve Harvey is famous for The Steve Harvey Morning Show, the Steve Harvey talk show, Family Feud and Little Big Shots.

In March 2009, he published a book titled Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. His other published works include the books, “Straight Talk,” and “No Chaser: How to Find and Keep a Man.”

R. Kelly accused of infecting a married woman with an STD

Contemporary R&B singer R. Kelly has been accused of having an affair with a police officer’s wife, and daring to infect her with a sexually transmitted disease.

R. Kelly Sued For Breaking Up Sheriff’s Deputy’s Marriage

The “Happy People” crooner has been targeted for sex abuse, pornography and child molestation in the past, a reason why he remains so unloved by majority of the womenfolk.

A Mississippi sheriff’s deputy named Kenny Bryant, has sued R. Kelly for cheating with his wife although the alleged affair was said to be an off-an-on relationship. The lovebirds were believed to have kick-started their unholy affair after she attended one of the singer’s concerts.

“…R Kelly’s wanton and reckless interference with plaintiff’s marriage relationship, his blatant disregard for family values, and his un-condoned and unrelenting adulterous relationship with plaintiff’s wife was accompanied by R. Kelly’s enticement of Childress to ignore her marriage,” the suit states.

The Hinds County Deputy got married to his loving wife Asia Childress in July 2012.

According to a report from FOX News, Bryant claims he suffered “emotional, psychological and financial loss” due to the shocking revelation.

In her court statements, Bryant’s wife admitted that she had a fling with the 50-year-old singer but says it was before their wedding.

However, the police officer refutes the claims, insisting that Children rekindled her extra-marital affair with R. Kelly later in October that year.

“Each time R. Kelly would have a concert in a nearby state, Childress would disappear to unite with her lover,” the lawsuit claims.

“Time after time, R. Kelly cuckolded Bryant, with blatant disregard for Bryant’s and Childress’ vows.”

Bryant added that she persuaded him to quit his job and move to Atlanta where she described as greener. Unknowing to him, that suggestion was aimed at pushing him far away from home so she could have the freedom to gallivant off her lover on wild adventures.

According to the lawsuit, Childress contacted chlamydia while sleeping with the “World’s Greatest” singer who admitted he was abused as a child by a female relative.

“…” As if that wasn’t bad enough, the suit also says that Kelly gave Childress chlamydia,” Bryant’s court file against R. Kelly adds.

Beyoncé involved in a $20m lawsuit for Copyright Infringement

A YouTube singer’s estate has sued Beyoncé for $20 million, claiming the former Destinys Child lead singer used a copyrighted material without permission in her song “Formation.”

https://d.ibtimes.co.uk/en/full/1510606/beyonce-lemonade-new-album.jpg

Attorneys for the late New Orleans singer who was fatally shot in 2010 said their client’s voice was used with no acknowledgement or financial compensations.

Jay Z’s wife wasn’t the only defendant named by Anthony Barre’s lawyers. A host of songwriters and notably, the video’s director are expected to cough out at least $20 million in damages.

A few companies owned by Warner Music Group are also included in the claim for royalties.

The case was reportedly filed in New Orleans federal court earlier this week.

Anthony Barre, popularly known by his YouTube moniker Messy Mya, may posthumously join the likes of Matthew Fulks, an independent filmmaker who claimed in 2016 that the pop star’s “Lemonade” was a rip off from his short film titled “Palinoia.” The lawsuit was settled out of court.

Another musician named Ahmed Javon Lane claimed Beyoncé copied his original song “XOXO” for her “X.O.” The claimant demanded a whooping $7.1 million from her, saying he shared the song with one of Bey’s backup dancers way back in 2013.

Ahmed was unlucky to have his suit discarded by the presiding judge.

Johnny Depp files $25m+lawsuit against ex-managers for funds mismanagement

Johnny Depp has filed a $25m+ lawsuit against his former business managers for an alleged mismanagement of funds.

The indictment was brought to court on Friday after he said former managers squandered earnings from his most productive acting period.

Depp reportedly severed ties with The Management Group in 2016, and hired a new team of managers who discovered some serious financial breaches. The company claims his spending habits should take the blame instead.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the actor’s complaint was filed in  L.A. County Superior Court last Friday. He’s suing the company and its attorneys for what he called “negligence, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty”, among other claims.

TMG, an abbreviation for The Management Group, was in charge of Depp’s business, tax, legal and accounting – as advisers between 1999 to 2016.

During their time in charge of the actor’s career, TMG allegedly accumulated over $28 million from the 53-year-old as “contingent fees” although he claims never to have given consent for those withdrawals.

Matthew Kanny, an attorney for Depp, said in the filed complaint“Mr. Depp is one of the most sought after and highly paid actors in the world. He is also the victim of the gross misconduct of his business managers — The Management Group and attorneys Joel and Robert Mandel — who collected tens of millions of dollars of contingent fees, purportedly based on an oral contract, all at Mr. Depp’s expense.”

Kanny continued: “TMG actively concealed the true state of Mr. Depp’s finances while driving him deeper and deeper into financial distress.”

Depp’s lawsuit claims TMG skipped tax payments, issued unauthorized loans, and inflated prices for security services among other claims.

An attorney for The Management Group, Michael J. Kump, says the allegations from Depp are fabricated lies. He claims the actor never admitted any breach of contracts while the agreement lasted, adding that the company responsibly carried out their duties.

Kump says TMG did all it could to protect Depp from his excessive spending habit.

Media reports say Depp hired the Mandels in 1999 but their agreement wasn’t on a written contract.

However, the company has received 5% of the actor’s earnings from blockbuster movies such as the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise and other major releases which include “Alice in Wonderland” as well as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005).”

The lawsuit against TMG states that it failed to present Depp’s tax returns on time – a shortcoming which cost him about $5.7 million in penalties.

His divorce from ex-wife Amber Heard has been finalized after the actor was ordered to pay her $7 million in installments.

Amber said she has earmarked the funds for two charities.

Depp’s lawsuit against TMG was filed on the same day his divorce financial settlement was concluded.

Lawsuit failed against YAHOO! for 2014 hacking

YAHOO! has been sued for the alleged 2014 hacking involving over 500 million subscribers. The cyber attack information which was made public last Thursday has been described as the largest security breach in the world’s history.

Media reports confirm the lawsuit was filed in Sunnyvale, by Yahoo user and New Yorker Ronald Schwartz on behalf of all U.S. Yahoo users.

The lawsuit accuses the company of “gross negligence” over the data breach, Beijing Bulletin reported.

The U.S tech company which has about 9,400 employees on its payroll has claimed that the cyber attack was “state-sponsored”, pointing fingers at the Russian military intelligence agencies.

The claimants reportedly cited a research which argues that Yahoo was careless in the way it handled the breach which occured since 2014. In addition, the fact that the tech company kept this scurity matter a secret and left it unsolved until a journalist contacted them for statements, makes the lawsuit unavoidable.

According to the recorded research findings cited by Ronald Schwartz on behalf of Yahoo users:

  • It takes an average 191 days for a hack to be identified.
  • And 58 days to contain a breach after it’s been discovered.

The lawsuit reportedly contends that information from 500 million accounts had been compromised in the two years it took Yahoo to learn about the breach and called this unacceptable.

Yahoo made public statements last weekend, saying that all subscribers’ financial details remained safe, adding that the authorities are investigating the crime.

Meanwhile, the company is facing another lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in San Diego where the claimant has alleged that the hack leaked personal information and caused an “intrusion into personal financial matters.”

A Yahoo spokeswoman said the Sunnyvale, California-based company does not discuss pending litigation.

Verizon held serious business talks with Yahoo earlier in July for an estimated $4.83 billion acquisition. However, there are wide speculations that the recent breach and secrecy may impact on the proposed sale.

Reports confirm Verizon has declined from making public statements regarding the matter.

The pending case is Schwartz v Yahoo Inc, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, No. 16-05456.

Nick Gordon Found Guilty For Bobbi Kristina’s Death.

Nick Gordon, 26, has been found guilty for Bobbi Kristina‘s death after the accused failed to attend court hearing scheduled September 16.

The court in Atlanta ruled in favor of allegations filed by Bobbi’s conservator which claimed she died after “a violent altercation with the defendant who then placed her in the bathtub unconscious, after injecting her with a toxic mixture”, Entertainment Tonight confirms.

Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon

An autopsy has since ruled that a fatal cocktail of marijuana, booze and anxiety drugs led to her drowning. She was discovered face-down in a bathtub earlier in 2015.

However, the nature of her death has been declared as “undetermined” implying that it’s inconclusive whether she died from an accidental or intentional cause.

According to court documents seen by Radar Online, the 26-year-old ignored a court hearing at Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court on 26 September.

Earlier in the case, Gordon vehemently denied all accusations that he was responsible for the death of late Whitney Houston’s daughter, and referred to the “wrongful death civil lawsuit” as “slanderous and merit-less”.

Though the accused was never arrested for the death, he previously asked that the lawsuit be withdrawn.

According to legal documents, obtained by TMZ, Gordon claimed he would never get a fair trial if he’s criminally prosecuted because the Brown family has painted him as “murderer, a habitual batterer of women, a seducer of young white females, a thief and/or con man fuelled by monetary gain, and a chemist capable of making a toxic cocktail.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown tragically passed away in July 2015, six months after she was found unresponsive in a bath tub.

Since the aspiring singer died, her father Bobby Brown and family members have never stopped pointing accusing fingers on Gordon. The latest court pronouncement is a huge relief for Kristina’s immediate family.

Bobby is said to be glad that at last, the law court has found Gordon [Kristina’s former fiancé] legally responsible for her death.

He told People magazine in a statement: “I am pleased with the outcome of today’s court proceedings.

“All I ever wanted was answers relating to who and what caused my daughter’s death. Today’s judgment tells me it was Nick Gordon. Now I need to process all the emotions I have and lean on God to get me and my family through this.”

Meanwhile, an American reporter Jennifer Leslie from 11Alive tweeted after teh court judgement that afternoon: “#BREAKING – By ignoring court, Nick Gordon found responsible for wrongful death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. #11Alive.”

Before then, she had tweeted: Nick Gordon is no-show for hearing in wrongful death suit filed against him by estate of Bobbi Kristina Brown. #11Alive

— Jennifer Leslie (@jleslie11alive) September 16, 2016

Jennifer also claims in her updates that attorneys for Bobbi’s estate cited Gordon’s Dr Phil interview as proof that he lost the court battle.

Nick Gordon on Dr Phil

Image: Nick Gordon

Gordon was earlier questioned in a bombshell one-on-one chat with Dr Phil. The accused cried during the show amid claims that Kristina, 22, did drugs in order to cope with her mom’s death.

Coincidentally, the suspect was there on both ocassions when Whitney and Bobbi died.

Gordon told Dr Phil that Bobbi’s habit became “really bad” after she died, explaining: “It’s unfortunate but at the time it’s the only way we knew how to deal with what happened.”

R. David Ware [a lawyer for the conservator of Bobbi Kristina’s estate] said in a statement: “In court today, we finally finished a long journey for justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown. The court agrees with us, by striking Mr. Gordon’s answer that he is legally responsible for her death.

“The only thing left to prove is the value of her life. We intend to do that … It’s not a criminal case but it doesn’t have to be.

“We want to legally establish he was responsible for the injuries that proceeded her death and we’ve done that today.”

Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Leolah Brown said outside the court premises: “It’s been a long time. They should have gotten him. He should have been arrested. I’m angry. I’m angry because I want to see some justice. Something has to happen and it has to happen soon.”

As the laws will have it, the recent judgement permits a jury to come up with detailed calculations on what damages Nick Gordon will have to pay to Bobbi Kristina’s estate.

Details of Nick Gordon’s Relationship with Whitney and Bobbi:

  • Nick Gordon was once a 12-year-old boy abandoned by his mother, and Whitney Houston took him in and raised him as her own.

Gordon has said in the past that Whitney “treated me like she gave birth to me,” and he only ever called her “mom”.

  • He has a number of tattoos dedicated to the late singer, including her portrait.
  • He grew up with Bobbi for more than a decade, and was her shoulder to cry on after her mother’s tragic death.
  •

The singer reportedly always suspected they would end up in a relationship and after they confirmed the rumours it caused a family fallout.

  • Gordon said that it was Bobbi’s grandmother who finally gave her blessing and supported them when others didn’t.

Image shows Bobbi Kristina Brown and mom Whitney Houston.

Gordon told The Sun on Sunday: “I still dream about Krissy like she’s still here. She was too terrified to bathe alone after Whitney passed, we both were. It’s why this is so messed up.

“I had no idea she was in the bath until I heard a friend scream. I raced upstairs and gave her CPR.”

A$AP Rocky In A $250K Lawsuit With Landlord.

A$AP Rocky has been sued by a landlord who says the Harlem rapper literally “demolished the leased property”, leaving it in a damaged condition. The lawsuit in Manhattan federal court is requesting for more than $250,000.00

Image: A$AP Rocky

Rocky [real name Rakim Mayers] rented the posh condominium in lower Manhattan.

A report from TMZ says A$AP got permission from the house owner to make some alterations and both agreed the rapper will restore any extra constructions made on the property before his lease contract expires.

Problem started after the 27-year-old vacated in August but failed to honor the previou agreement. According to the lawsuit, he left the home in a “complete state of disrepair.”

The landlord claims A$AP Rocky demolished a custom walk-in wardrobe and turned it into a recording room.

Court papers say he left the Manhattan property in a filthy and damaged condition.

According to the docs … Rocky removed a custom chandelier and security camera, damaged a downstairs bathroom and left stains and scratches throughout.

“The unit was filled with dirt, huge piles of debris and garbage,” the suit says.

The landlord also alleges Rocky broke the fireplace and stained a balcony with water from his jacuzzi.

Nicki Minaj’s Brother To Be Divorced By Wife.

Nicki Minaj’s brother is facing divorce from his wife, following an alleged court case involving the rape of a teen girl. Jelani Maraj has been handed divorce documents from wife who asked that their marriage of one year be dissolved immediately.

Maraj was charged with felony and rape of a minor. He stands accused for raping and sodomizing the teen girl in a horrific assault that lasted 8 months in 2015.

According to the Daily Mail, the rapper’s 37-year-old brother was hit with the latest lawsuit from wife on August 18, a few days before their first wedding anniversary.

The divorce is filed as “Uncontested Matrimonial,” which indicates that the separation is agreed upon by both sides.

The defendant could face life in prison if found guilty of charges after he was accused of raping a 12-year-old girl multiple times, and physically assaulting the victim. DNA tests and forensic evidence available to police points at Maraj with up to 99.9% certainly.

He was given four days to consider a plea deal last week, having rejected the offer twice.

Maraj, 37, was offered a chance by the District Attorney to plead guilty for a reduced sentence when the case was first filed, but the newly married man rejected the kindness. He pleaded “not guilty” during his arraignment on April 19.

The accused was offered a seven-year deal in exchange for a guilty plea.

However, Maraj’s team of lawyers are claiming that they have verifiable proof that the young girl was also having sex with another male who is above 17 years old, at the same time.

The lawsuit against Maraj was filed in April this year but his sister kept him out of jail after posting $100,000 bond. Subsequent reports claimed Minaj never made any cash deposit, revealing that his mother mortgaged her home and completed the amount with promissory notes.

The rap star attended her brother’s wedding last August and posted on Instgram afterwards: I would cross the ocean for u. I would go & bring u the moon. Promise u. For u I will. Mercedes Sprinter Van: Court Approves Compensation In AC Defect Lawsuit.

Mercedes (Auto News): A federal district judge in California has approved a settlement of a class-action lawsuit against Mercedes-Benz over faulty roof air conditioners in Sprinter vans.

Image: File Photo

The settlement extends the warranty on about 10,000 Freightliner and Mercedes Sprinter vans nationwide, attorneys representing plaintiffs in the case said.

Customers said the air conditioners leaked so much water, it seemed to be “raining” inside the large passenger and cargo vans, attorneys said.

Each roof air conditioner leak repair is estimated to cost between $500 and $1,000, attorneys said.

The settlement covers U.S. residents who are current and former owners or lessees of 2010-14 Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner Sprinter 2500 or 3500 models with original-equipment rear air conditioning units.

The settlement “is a fair and reasonable resolution of Mercedes-Benz USA’s exposure, and a very favorable result for the Sprinter owners’ claims, who will have these defective vehicles repaired free of charge,” Anthony Label, one of the attorneys who represented the plaintiffs, said in a statement.

Mercedes did not immediately respond to a request for comment, according to the report.

U.S. District Judge Thelton Henderson approved the settlement on Tuesday.

Beyonce Wins Lawsuit On “LEMONADE” Copyrights.

Beyonce has won a lawsuit filed against her in June by a Louisville filmmaker who claims the famous singer and her management company–Parkwood Entertainment, in collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment and Columbia Recording Corp–stole his copyrighted material in the “Lemonade” video.

Image: Beyonce

Fulks [the claimant] says queen Bey’s producers copied parts of his 2014 short film, “Palinoia” for the award-winning music video.

Beyonce won Breakthrough Long Form Video Award with “Lemonade” at the August 28 MTV Music Video Awards, the first-ever live MTV Video Music Awards show from New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

In his lawsuit, Filks allege that alleged that “Lemonade” was produced a few months after a senior vice president at Columbia Recording Corp. sent a link to his film for producers to modify in their blockbuster music video.

However, a judge handling the case in New York has “tossed out a Kentucky man’s claims that the trailer accompanying Beyonce’s visual album “Lemonade” used ideas from his short film”, News Day said.

Federal Judge Jed Rakoff threw out Matthew Fulks’ copyright infringement lawsuit Wednesday, saying reasons for the action will be explained later.

Representatives for Beyonce and the corporations didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment Thursday. Lawyers also didn’t immediately comment, the report said.

Lindsay Lohan: Lawsuit Against ‘Grant Theft Auto V’ Has Been Dismissed By Court.

All said, the law court cited New York Civil Rights Law, section 51, which prohibits a person’s “name, portrait, picture or voice” to be used “for advertising purposes or for the purposes of trade” without written consent.

However, the same court says the above law did not apply to Lindsay’s case, “because this video game does not fall under the statutory definitions of ‘advertising’ or ‘trade.’ ”

Instead, “This video game’s unique story, characters, dialogue, and environment, combined with the player’s ability to choose how to proceed in the game, render it a work of fiction and satire.”

Hong Kong Celebrity Cecilia Cheung Takes Legal Action Against Rumor Mongers.

Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung made headlines today after she took legal actions against rumor mongers who claim she squandered her own share from ex-husband’s divorce settlement five years ago.

She was married to a popular celebrity actor-singer Nicholas Tse.

Cecilia Cheung Cheated $32 million? Nicholas Tse Denies Poor Relationship with Son

Image shows Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung.

According to Toggle, Cecilia is suing the Hong Kong media for slander, after the 36-year-old was rumored to have wasted her ex-husband’s family fortune.
Her lawsuit claims that the reported NT$500 million (approximately S$21.2 million) which she’s accused of mismanaging, was used in the upkeep of the couple’s two sons–Lucas, 8, and Quintus, 6.
The media says she used the kids as her bargaining chip to get Nicholas into releasing a bigger part of their shared assets to her–a demand which the ex-husband reportedly rejected.
Image: Cecilia Cheung

Some tabloids reported yesterday that the actress told some of her close pals at the airport that she regretted squandering Nicholas’s wealth, adding that she wants to focus on her career now, having depended on the ex-husband’s wealth for over 5 years.

The confession may have been made to her trusted friends but even the walls have ears. She has however, fired back at rumor mongers after her disclosed secret surfaced online.

Cecilia accused the media of slander and has since consulted her lawyer for legal actions. She posted a message on her lawyer’s Weibo account this morning, and uploaded a picture of their official letter against the rumor-mongers.
The actress pleaded with the general public to ignore those reports and see them as unfounded rumors. As the letter shows, Cecilia claims the negative reports have tarnished her image, ordering the news website to take down the article, issue an official apology to her, and offset all attorney fees incurred.

Image shows Cecilia’s leaked picture taken with Edison Chen.

Before the couple divorced in 2011, Cecilia was accused of cheating on her husband with Edison Chen. She’s alleged to have had one too many affairs, and would not retrace her steps even after warnings from Nich.

JayneStars wrote: Nic’s divorce decision was not solely instigated by Cecilia’s friendly photo collaboration with ex-flame, Edison Chen (陳冠希), in May. He could no longer withstand her rash personality and her “threats” in their marriage.

Since the incident with Edison, Nic felt that Cecilia did not consider his feelings and was deeply angered. He refused to celebrate Cecilia’s birthday with her and did not return her phone calls and text messages. This did not make Cecilia reflect on her actions but rather incited her to ask her lawyer to send a letter asking for divorce.

She sent threatening text messages that she will commit suicide as well.

Cheung has been romantically linked to Hong Kong male singers such as Daniel Chan and Jordan Chan. She then dated Nicholas Tse in early 2002, but split with him late that year when he returned to his ex-girlfriend, singer Faye Wong.

In early 2003, rumors surfaced that the actress and Edison Chen were in a secret love affair, a rumor which both vehemently denied but not until nude pictures of both Edison and Cecilia got leaked online.

About three years later, Cheung and Tse were first reported to have reconciled in early 2006 and on 31 July 2006, Tse officially admitted to dating Cheung in an interview with Commercial Radio Hong Kong 881/903.

In September 2006, Tse showed off his wedding ring at the Hong Kong International Airport, announcing that he and Cheung had been married in a secret wedding ceremony in the Philippines.

Secilia Cheung’s parents divorced when she was little after which she was sent to Australia for studies. She graduated from RMIT Holmes College.

Man Says He Invented The iPhone 24 Years Ago, Sues Apple For £7.5 billion.

There are truly, people who would never work hard but keep looking for others to sue just like this mystery man who says he’s the first to come up with the iPhone idea 24 years ago. iPhone was announced in 2007.

Thomas Ross from Florida, has filed a lawsuit against Apple this week claiming the Californian tech giant’s products infringe on his invention of an ‘Electronic Reading Device’.

Mr Ross claims that between May 23, 1992 and September 10, 1992, he designed three hand-drawn technical drawings of the device, a report said.

These consisted of flat rectangular panels with rounded corners that ’embodied a fusion of design and function in a way that never existed prior to 1992′.

According to Mac Rumours, Mr Ross applied for a utility patent to protect his invention in November 1992, but the application was declared abandoned in April 1995 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office after he failed to pay the required application fees.

The claim is for $10 billion (£7.5 billion) and a royalty of up to 1.5 per cent on Apple’s worldwide sales of infringing devices.  Continue reading “Man Says He Invented The iPhone 24 Years Ago, Sues Apple For £7.5 billion.”
