A “China Eastern” flight attendant fell from a plane while trying to shut the door.

According to a report from South China Morning Post, the stewarded fell from three meters height and suffered multiple fractures, but miraculously survived.

RIA Novosti confirmed the incident occurred in Shenzhen, a business hub in the southern part of China, on Monday 23 October, 2017. The girl is currently receiving treatments at an undisclosed hospital.

According to the report, safety rules were violated while closing the door, and during that time, no other crew member was around for assistance, as required.

The aircraft eventually took off about two hours later.

A unnamed official at the airport told SCMP that the stewardess was “found on the airport tarmac by mechanics helping to prepare the aircraft for its flight.”
