Tottenham have signed Kirsty Hanson from Aston Villa.

The striker was the third highest scorer in the WSL last season behind Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Alessia Russo, scoring 12 goals – only one fewer than the Arsenal forward.

The last time Hanson scored double figures was in the 2017/18 season for Doncaster Rovers Belles, when she scored 11 times.

The 28-year-old has signed a long-term contract at the club, and comes as Bethany England departs Spurs this summer.
