The IDF has said its strike on southern Lebanon yesterday killed Ali Muhammad Aldbas, commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan Forces.
His deputy, Ibrahim Issa, was also killed in the attack on Nabatieh, Israel said this afternoon.
Hezbollah Military Media has shared what they claim are pictures of the men online
According to the IDF: “Aldbas was among those who directed the terrorist attack at the Megiddo Junction in Israel in March 2023.
“He led, planned, and carried out terrorist activity toward the state of Israel, especially during this war.”
A statement also gave details on further strikes on Lebanon today.
“Today, IDF fighter jets struck a Hezbollah military structure in the area of Blida, and an additional Hezbollah military structure in the area of Maroun al-Ras.”

Another Red Sea ‘incident’ reported
There has been another “incident” in the Red Sea, 85 nautical miles east of the port of Aden in Yemen, according to the UK’s Maritime Trade Operations agency.
Attacks on ships in the region have been commonplace in recent months after Houthi rebels in Yemen vowed to attack Israeli-linked ships in support of their Hamas allies in Gaza.
They have prompted several companies to halt Red Sea journeys and opt for a longer and more expensive route around Africa, and US and British warplanes have carried out retaliatory strikes across Yemen.
