Mohsen Rezaei [the Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council (EC)] has laid accusations on the Saudi government, lamenting over the kingdom’s relentless threat to Iran’s sovereignty.

Mohsen bemoans Riyadh regime’s show of “continued support for terrorism and its hostilities toward Tehran,” adding that the Saudi consulate in northern Iraq has dispatched terrorists to Iran, Tasnim reported.

“The Saudi consulate in north of Iraq is supporting the Komala Party in order to interfere in the internal affairs of Iran and Iraq,” Mohsen Rezaei said in a speech in Alborz province, west of Tehran, on Saturday, referring to a group responsible for numerous terror attacks in western Iran.

“The consulate sends terrorists to Iran but their terrorist attempts have been foiled due to the vigilance of the Iranian armed forces,” he stated.

“The Saudis are the most evil government on earth,” Rezaei said, adding that the Riyadh regime has plunged the region into turmoil with its madness.

Last month, Iranian security forces managed to kill a number of terrorists in armed clashes in Sarvabad and Mahabad regions in the northwestern province of West Azarbaijan near the border with Iraq.

According to Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour, full security prevails along Iran’s borders thanks to the IRGC’s presence and successful operations in recent years.

The ongoing security conditions at Iran’s borderlines are incomparable with the past, when terrorist and anti-Revolution elements were being fought off inside the country’s territories, the commander said at the time.
