Brendan Rodgers is on his way to Saudi Arabia right now to complete the final stages of a deal with Al Qadsiah which will see him take over as the club’s manager. 

Most of the details within his contract have already been agreed, Sky Sports News has been told, with the legal details to be completed over the next couple of days. 

Rodgers resigned as Celtic boss in October, and it’s thought after more than 800 games as a manager for Liverpool, Celtic, Leicester and Swansea, he is keen to challenge himself in a new environment outside the UK.
