Aaron Ramsey is at the top of Oxford United’s shortlist to replace Matt Bloomfield who left the club last week. 

The former Arsenal man has held positive talks with Oxford United over their vacant head coach position and has impressed them with his vision despite very little management experience. 

The 35-year-old retired from playing earlier this year and had a caretaker spell in charge of Cardiff in 2025. 

Oxford are hoping to make a swift appointment in preparation for League One next season.
