Benjamin Netanyahu says he has provided Joe Biden with “conclusive evidence” that Israel did not cause the Gaza hospital blast and that Palestinian Islamic Jihad was behind the attack.
In a video address after the US president’s departure from Tel Aviv, Mr Netanyahu said he instructed the national information system and the Israeli military to “spread these proofs”.
“The world today knows the truth.”
As we’ve been reporting since the first reports of the explosion at al Ahli hospital last night, there have been conflicting claims of who is responsible.
Hamas has pointed to Israel – but Israel released a selection of evidence it says shows a misfire by the PIJ militant group was behind the blast.
