With the Euro 2016 still unfolding, rumors are rife on Manchester United players and potential transfer targets.
Despite already boasting the talents of Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, the latest reports surrounding United seem to suggest Jose Mourinho is on the lookout for a striker, a report from Squawka adds.
Here are a few transfer details on Manchester United.
Manchester United target Alvaro Morata will only move to Old Trafford is Jose Mourinho cools his interest in Zlatan Ibrahimovic. United are one of a number of clubs interested in the Juventus striker, who will turn down a transfer to the Red Devils if Ibrahimovic also signs due to concerns over his game-time. Ibrahimovic is ready to arrive at Man United as he’s now bought a house in Manchester, with the Sweden international seemingly sure of his switch to United. A statement from real estate agency Proto Group Ltd reads: “We can confirm that we have found a new home for the footballer in Manchester, following the indications given by the club.” The free-scoring no.10 scored a staggering 38 goals for PSG this season. But United are currently preparing a bid for 23-year-old Morata, with Mourinho keen to add to his attacking options. Wayne Rooney will likely feature only in midfield under the Portuguese and the new Red Devils manager is hopeful that his relationship with Morata will push through a deal. United are set to miss out on the signing of Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus though, with Bayern Munich leading the race for the 19-year-old’s signature. Bayern recently beat the Premier League outfit to the capture of Renato Sanches and technical director Michael Reschke has travelled to Brazil to thrash out a deal. The Palmeiras teenager could be available for £18.8 million. (The Sun)
Mourinho has made it clear to Matteo Darmian that he is part of his plans for 2016/17. The former Torino right-back is currently with Italy at Euro 2016 but his club future remains the topic of much debate, with Juventus said to be interested. United’s new manager wants to keep him at the Theatre of Dreams, however. (Sport, via Football Italia)
United will move for Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah if they fail to lure Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic. Mourinho is keen to add some steel to his midfield in the shape of his former player, Matic, but should he be unable to sign the Serbia international his attentions will turn to Acquah. The 24-year-old made 29 appearances in Serie A in 2015/16. (Ghana SoccerNet)
Finally, Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing Inter Milan defender Miranda to Old Trafford. The Brazil international only joined the Serie A outfit last summer meaning that Roberto Mancini’s men will demand big money for him. (Gazzetta World)
I have been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all website owners
and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful
than ever before.
My favourite club did their best last summer, buying the best of players around the world. If we don’t win trophies this time, it’ll be a shame.
Thanks for sharing this info.
Live Man U, Breath Man U!
