It has been reported that Real Madrid is willing to sell the Colombian star James Rodriguez to any club that comes up with the minimum price tag £60million.
The star joined the famous Spanish club after his great exploits at the 2014 World Cup.
In an impressive performance following his new contract and huge price tag, James scored a total 17 goals in all competitions for the club during his first season.
The World Cup poster boy, unfortunately, has been unable to follow up with his goal scoring abilities this year. The 24-year-old footballer has been a shadow of his old self after starting only 13 games out of a total 31 La Liga games played so far.
The talented star has remained on the bench in most games and in the recent El Clasico on Sunday, he was regrettably an unused substitute in the memorable 2-1 win against Barcelona.
Interested buyers – Manchester United and Chelsea – are currently making moves to land the player anytime soon. As confirmed by the Daily Mirror, James will be allowed to leave Madrid at the end of the season for a minimum of 60m.
Amid criticisms in the soccer world as well as his alleged fall-out with Zinedine Zidane, the star may be on his way out in summer.
